Community Room Rental
The Kaukauna Recreation Department offers the Community Room for
rental. This room has a capacity of 200 people and has a
kitchenette which includes a stove, refrigerator and sink. The fee
is $50.00 for residents, $100.00 for non-residents, plus $100.00
returnable deposit for both residents and non-residents.
A rental agreement and payment is required to guarantee
date.

Fall Dance Program
This 28-week program teaches students the fundamentals of dance
through a dance routine. The program is followed by a dance revue
that is held at the Kaukauna High School.
Additional expenses include proper shoes, costume and pictures
(optional).
Minimum Ages as of September 1:
Ballet: 4 yrs
Tap: 4 yrs
Jazz: 6 yrs
Hip Hop: 8 yrs
Irish: 8 yrs
Lyrical Jazz: 11 yrs

Fall Flag Football
For children in the Kaukauna School District entering 4th and 5th
grades in the fall. Sign-up begins in August. Play begins in
September and runs for six Saturdays at the Grignon Park soccer
complex.
Fall Football Fundamentals
The Kaukauna Recreation Department in cooperation with the KHS
Football program offers Football Fundamentals. This program is for
children in the Kaukauna Area school district entering Kindergarten
through third grade in the fall. The fundamentals of football will
be taught to students followed by occasional scrimmages.
This program runs for six consecutive Saturdays in the fall.

Fall Gymnastics
The City of Kaukauna accepts registrations for the gymnastics
program for boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 8th grade
in the fall.

Girls Fast Pitch Softball
For school district girls currently in second through eight grades.
This league will play evening games beginning in early May at
Horseshoe Valley Park ball diamonds. The league's focus is on
teaching the fundamentals of fast pitch softball while having
fun.

Loan Closet
The City of Kaukauna has wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, and
commodes available for use on a temporary basis. Please contact the
Recreation Department at 920-766-6335 if you are in need of any of
these items on a loan basis.
Park Rentals
The pavilions at Riverside, Horseshoe Valley and LaFollete parks
are available for rental the months of May through September. The
fee is $25.00 for residents and $50.00 for non-residents. A Rental
Agreement and payment is required before rental is guaranteed.
Volleyball nets are also available during park rental at no
cost. Please reserve a volleyball net from the Recreation
Department office.

Pool Pass Fees
Individual season passes are available to residents and property
owners of the City of Kaukauna for $25.00 per person. The maximum a
resident family will be required to pay will be $100.00. Individual
season passes for non-residents are $50.00 per person. The maximum
a non-resident family will be required to pay will be $200.00.
Pool Rentals
The pool is available to rent for private parties to the residents
of the City of Kaukauna on Saturday and Sunday evenings from either
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
beginning on June and ending in August.
The rental fee is $100.00 per hour.
Safety Town
Safety Town is a safety education program formulated and designed
to teach safety to pre-school children. Offered in the summer,
Safety Town is for children entering Kindergarten in the Kaukauna
Area School District.
This program offers three, one week sessions and is directed by
Seth Jakl, a certified elementary teacher.

Senior Citizens Bowling
The Kaukauna Recreation department offers Senior Citizens Bowling.
The leagues are held on Tuesdays for couple's bowling, Mondays for
men's bowling and Tuesdays for ladies bowling.

Senior Citizens Brewers Trip
At least once a year in the summer months, the Kaukauna Recreation
Department sponsors a senior citizen trip to see a Brewers game at
Miller Park.

Spring Beginner Dance
Spring Beginner Dance registration is accepted in March. Classes
are for 3-year old to 12-year old beginner dance students. Classes
are 1/2 hour sessions in the evening beginning at 4:00 pm.
Jazz, Tap, Tumbling and Ballet are offered.

Spring Gymnastics
The Kaukauna Recreation Department accepts registrations for the
spring gymnastics program for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten
through 8th grade in March.
The program consists of hands-on use of the balance beam, floor,
uneven bars, horse and the other gymnastic equipment.

Summer Coed Youth Sports
The Kaukauna Recreation Department, in cooperation with the
Kaukauna Area School District offers youth sports for six weeks.
The sports offered are Soccer for K & 1st Grade on Mondays,
T-Ball for K & 1st Grade on Tuesdays & Thursdays, Pee Wee
Softball for 2nd & 3rd Grade on Mondays & Wednesdays,
Midget Softball for 4th & 5th Grade on Mondays &
Wednesdays, Kickball for K & 1st Grade / 2nd & 3rd Grade /
4th & 5th Grade on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and
Basketball for K, 1st & 2nd Grades on Fridays.

Summer Kidz Academy Program
The Kaukauna Recreation Department offers a six week Kidz Academy
Program for boys and girls ages 3-6 in the summer. The program
consists of educational curriculum, a variety of games, art
projects, songs, story time, and other special events.

Summer Rec-Ball
This summer program is for boys and girls ages 13-15. Players must
reside in the Kaukauna School District to participate. The goals
and objectives of this league are to give all participants an equal
opportunity to develop their playing skills and to continue to play
the game of baseball. The coaches will be emphasizing skill
development and good sportsmanship.

Summer Starz Theater
Just like each star is unique and special...so is each child. Let
your child's imagination explode with our summer theater program.
Together, we will write the script based on each child's needs and
dreams. Involvement in theater often promotes self-esteem,
leadership and social skills. Students will actively participate in
set and costume design, music selection, choreography, character
development and script writing. There will be a final musical
performance at the Kaukauna High School auditorium at the end of
summer school.
The program is offered to children entering Kindergarten through
8th grade.
Swimming Lessons
The Kaukauna Recreation Department, in partnership with the
Kaukauna Area School District offers an instructional swimming
lesson program following the Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum.
Classes for infants, preschoolers and school aged children are
offered during morning and evening hours at the Kaukauna Municipal
Pool all summer long. Infant and preschool lessons are also offered
at St. Paul's Healing Waters pool all year long.

Winter Boys Basketball Dribblers Club
For boys in Grades 1st through 4th grades in the Kaukauna School
district, this program teaches the fundamentals of basketball
through drills and weekly scrimmages. Students will receive
basketball instruction, a skills progression checklist, a Kaukauna
Dribblers Club T-Shirt and a Ghost basketball.

Winter Junior Wrestling - 3rd - 4th - 5th
Grade
The Kaukauna Recreation Department sponsors a wrestling program for
all Kaukauna School District students in 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades.
The goal of this program is to teach life skills through the
FUNdamentals of wrestling, which are the building blocks of
successful middle & high school programs!

Winter Kasper Wrestling - K - 1st - 2nd
The Kaukauna Recreation Department sponsors a wrestling program for
students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. All students in the
Kaukauna School District are eligible to participate. Fundamentals
of the sport of wrestling will be taught.

Youth Wrestling Invitational
This one-day folk style wrestling tournament is offered in March
and is held at the Kaukauna High School. Open to grades
Kindergarten through 8th grade -- 10 persons per team, 4-person
round robin brackets. Kindergarten through 3rd grade may wrestle
live or choose the No-Tears option. There is a $8.00 individual fee
or a $10.00 team fee to participate. The tournament is limited to
the first 600 participants and is based on a first-come basis.
